Dear Parkland School Parents, I hope this letter finds you well and in good spirits. As we reflect on the month of November, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the privilege of being a part of your children's lives. Your ongoing support and collaboration with us make the Parkland School community truly special, and for that, we are immensely thankful. Thank you coming to our student involved conferences this past week. If you were unable to attend, please connect with your child’s teacher through email or by calling the school at 204-325-6373.

One of the highlights this past month was the kickoff assembly for our fundraising event, where we introduced the sale of Potato Store Gift Cards. Your enthusiastic participation resulted in raising just over $700. These funds will play a crucial role in completing the much-anticipated play structure.

We also want to express our congratulations to a successful season to the Panthers Volleyball Teams. Your children's dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship have not only made us proud but have also united our school in celebration. Another significant moment of the month was the assembly dedicated to Remembrance Day. The respect shown by our students made this event a highlight of the year, reinforcing the importance of gratitude and remembrance within our school community. We look forward to building more school community in these coming weeks with Christmas concerts, school spirit week and festive activities.

Don’t forget to check out our new website www.pls.gvsd.ca, our Instagram pkld_panthers. Both accounts include a link to order Panther’s merch as well! Go Panthers!

Happy December!
